I was about to ask the same thing. How in the world could that possibly effect sales when you have to have an account from before April 20th, 2011 to even benefit from the Welcome back program?
Is there any possibility of Atlus, Namco Bandai or any other publishers bringing this stateside? Does Nintendo hold the exclusive rights to publishing the game in NA?
Exactly. The last three days alone I bought The Witcher 2, ESIV: Oblivion GOTY Edition, Borderlands GOTY, and Transformers: War of Cybertron.
No telling what's going to be offered in the rest of the sale that I'll want. Heck there's stuff that was available on sale that I wanted, but I had to refrain from getting. I can't keep doing this haha.
Damn you Steam and you're awesome sales, but I love you!
Square Enix is the dumbest corporation I've ever seen. They're sitting on all kinds of profit yet apparently they don't like money.
I don't understand how they don't understand that FF fans want this (and so much more.) Yet they aren't even attempting to do anything productive for it's long time fans.
Square used to be my favorite developer and now I just think they suck. Freaking worthless.
You want a good PSN card, go here: http://www.playfire.com/
Here's what mine looks like.

@seinfan: You can't get online with the first one. It's only Uncharted 2 (and now 3,) that have an online component.
Yeah, I've got great internet and even I'm not getting 45Mbps. That's ridiculous haha.
Still for being in a small town, 16Mbps is not bad at all! I'll be able to download that in roughly 20 minutes and I can't wait!
Let's hope it works. I want Xenoblade and The Last Story!
Finally. About damn time! Now where's The Last Story?
It's going to continue to happen. Let's face it, the PS3 and 360 are both outdated (by PC standards,) so it's no surprise that they don't look as good as the PC.
It's going to be that way until the next gen consoles come out, but even then PC will always been 5 steps ahead.
I wish that weren't the case, but remember that if you want a beastly system it's going to cost you in the thousands. My PC is pretty damn good for a laptop (i7...
I hope Xenoblade and The Last Story both come to US/EU!
You know, we North American's don't get shortchanged much. It's the Europeans that always get the shaft, so to that I say they deserve this one (and more as far as I'm concerned,) however I wish just that at the end of the day that these companies would treat each region equally.
Equality shouldn't be hard when it comes to gaming I think.
Wow, that looks very awesome! I loved Muramasa: The Demon Blade on Wii, and I've heard nothing but good things about Odin Sphere so I assume that this game is going to be great as well.
Can't wait to see their amazing art work in HD finally! They should seriously port Muramasa and Odin Sphere to PS3 via PSN. I'd buy those in a heartbeat!
I think it means more like, can be connected anywhere, whether you've got wi-fi access or not.
Internet on it can be access anywhere that cellphones can I think is the meaning behind "always connected."
@-Alpha, you've got to remember, Nintendo always sells at a profit. So eventhough it's priced at $250, doesn't mean the actual cost to make it is that much.
Sony on the other hand almost always sells at a loss hoping that software will make up the difference and make them an actual profit (which also works.)
In any case, I sure hope its' $250! I'll buy one on launch day if it's $250 (heck I'll buy one on launch day if it's $300...
It's a simple fix. go into the Account Management > Transaction Management > Service List > SCEA Promotion.
From there you'll be able to select the disappeared game haha. I did the same thing and was pissed off until I read that on Gamefaqs haha. Worked like a charm!
Oops, that was supposed to be an agree haha. Aside from Dirty Helvetica though, Helvetica is an awesome typeface!
Just stay away from Comic Sans, Papyrus, and Jokerman lol.
Good people (ie graphic designers,) don't let other people use Comic Sans. So stop it!
Meh, why can Killzone, SOCOM, Halo, Battlefield and tons of other shooters have this stuff for free, but Activision does so five years late and make everyone pay for it?
This kind of stuff should have been implemented long ago and without charge. However, regardless of the idiocy that is them charging for it, it does look pretty cool.
On another note, I hope MW3 is not an unbalanced (albeit fun at times) mess that MW2 was. I want it to be more like COD4 pleas...
Oh, I'm a huge Xeno fan myself. However I had no clue that Nintendo bought Monolith Soft. That sucks.
Way to go Nintendo on the failure.
